Nochum Monosov has been helping children and adolescents with ASD (autism spectrum disorder), behavioral, and social difficulties since 2010. He trained extensively with autism expert Rob Bernstein and combines Rob’s cognitive approach with ABA therapy to treat his clients. Nochum creates a personalized therapy plan for each child. He uses various tools like woodworking, sports, chess, and group therapy to teach relationship and behavioral skills.

Nochum conducted a research study that highlights the effectiveness of this approach. The study involved 15 children, and according to their parents’ ratings, 11 of them showed significant improvement in various areas of difficulty. The remaining four parents also reported progress, although their ratings were not consistent. (See The Voice article, Week 1 for more information on the study.)
